Art Deco Wedding Dream | Catalina Island
I had the absolute honor of doing hair and makeup for my gorgeous clients, and friends this past weekend on Catalina Island. So much thought and care was put into this wedding! It was held at the gorgeous Art Deco Casino on Catalina Island. Alexis dress was original 1930s (it was even on the Orient Express!). She opted for a very subtle makeup look. Her hair parted down the middle in a perfect chignon that she took down for the reception. Congrats to my beautiful friends! Thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your big day.
La Femme En Noir | Fall 2019
The New Fall 2019 Line for La Femme en Noir was shot at the Clark Gable Estates. It was the perfect backdrop for the beautiful lace and 1930’s inspired dresses. Hair by Hairstyling by Melissa. Makeup by Elizabeth Chang.
Micheline Pitt for Unique Vintage
I was asked to work again for Unique Vintage for the new Micheline Pitt collection! This was inspired by Blade Runner! The photos by Susie Delaney are out of these world! I used all green Hot Sticks to set Micheline’s hair. For the futuristic play on Rachel’s hair in the top bun, I applied Lady Luck Brand Pomade to silck Micheline’s hair up into a high ponytail sitting just off her forehead. I slipped an oversize bun form thru the ponytail and then neatly tucked the ponytail in.
Celebrity Wedding | Hunter McGrady
Hunter contacted me to do her wedding and I was absolutely thrilled! She is the whole package. Smart, funny, SO nice and a body positive activist to boot. A People Magazine and The Knot Exclusive - I wish so much luck to Hunter and Brian!
Charm Patterns by Gretchen Hirsch | New York City
I have had the pleasure of going about 4 times a year to New York City to work with the amazing Gretchen Hirsch, of Charm Patterns. She is the writer of “A Blog for Better Sewing”. Together with Shameless Pinups, we have all come together to achieve “The Fantasy” of ultimate vintage glamour for the home seamstress. Agent Carter Collection | Besame Cosmetics
I was Brought on the team for the Besame Cosmetics Collection for Agent Carter! Besame is a retro inspired cosmetics line based out of Los Angeles, Ca. I did the hair for all of the Agent Carter campaign, plus the VIP influencers party held at the Disneyland Hotel for 2018 Dapper Day.

Janie Bryant for Unique Vintage
I had the honor of doing hair and makeup onset the Janie Bryant collection for Unique Vintage. Janie is the Emmy award winning costume designer for Mad Men.
I am a huge fan of her work on Mad Men, The Last Tycoon and her upcoming project, The Romanoff's. We spent a very glamorous afternoon in my home town of Los Feliz, at the historical Dresden.
Working alongside Janie and the UV team for this project has been one of the highlights of my career.
Early October I was invited to come out to New York to shoot with Gretchen from Gertie's New Blog for Better Sewing. I had actually been a huge fan of hers (being a seamstress myself), and was delighted when I had to chance to do her hair when she visited Los Angeles the month before for the Dita Von Teese show.

We shot Gretchen for her 5th sewing book at Shameless Photography in Brooklyn, NY. We stayed with fun, flirty vintage style!!!
Gretchen's main objective to her new book is fast and easy! I wanted the hairstyling & makeup to reflect that as well. We changed up the hairstyles with the flow of the dresses.
I typically start out with hair down and more casual looks and then transition to more advanced into evening. Here you can see that we began the day with hair down and went into a 1940s style victory roll style.
Day two I started with hair down, went into a faux bumper bang into a more 60's updo option.
Traveling for work has always been a dream of mine, so when I get to do it - it's a treat! Thank you Gretchen for having me! We are doing another shoot together in the new year! 2018 will get off to a great start.
Micheline Pitt for Unique Vintage
A few months ago I was asked by my close friends Micheline Pitt to help out with a special secret project she was working on with vintage reproduction giant, Unique Vintage.
Working with Micheline is always a highlight for me. Her vision and imagination has no bounds. I love getting her inspirational pictures and making her visions a reality! I still enjoy working in the salon every day doing color, cuts and styling - but there is something so special being put to the test and working my creative muscles out.
We had such a great day shooting with Rachel Sadorey. I did classic vintage waves and changed the hair to a more Hedy Lamaar style.
Ashley and Chip Wedding // Newhall Mansion
On May 27th I ventured an hour north to a tiny city called Piru.
Nestled at the base of the Santa Clarita mountains is the magnificent, Newhall Mansion.
" Built in 1890, the Newhall Mansion has been an iconic statement of Victorian elegance for over a century. Originally owned by publisher David C. Cook, it was later purchased by the Warring Family, and finally by Scott & Ruth Newhall who rebuilt the Mansion to its original specifications in 1983 after a devastating fire. "
